VSPOA

The Vancouver Superannuated Police Officer’s Association (VSPOA) has a rich history and has been serving retired, sworn and non-sworn members of the Vancouver Police Department for over 70 years, with the objective of continuing this camaraderie and fellowship well into retired life.

We have extended our membership to include all superannuated police officers regardless of their Department/Service and all retired non-sworn personnel within the law enforcement field.

Join the VSPOA and help continue the legacy of promoting the common interests, health and welfare of all its’ members while continuing the camaraderie.

Our membership is comprised of both regular and associate members. Associate members are those persons who have served in various capacities in the law enforcement field or who is a surviving partner of a VSPOA member. The VSPOA currently boasts over 600 members.

The original Constitution and Bylaws was adopted on June 22nd, 1952 but it was amended and passed by the membership at the AGM in January 2024. A variety of organizational changes were implemented to revitalize the Association and enhance its relevance and usefulness to all superannuated members. The Association remains active and committed to its members.
