Death of a Retired Member

In the event a retired sworn member of the VPD dies, the family should contact Laura Tempesta of the Executive Services Section at 604-717-2953 to notify the Officer of the Chief Constable and the Human Resources Unit.

The VPD Ceremonial Unit will provide an honour guard, when requested by the family, through the Chief’s office.

If the family would like the services of the VPD Chaplain, the Human Resources Unit can provide information.
