Discounts

Seniors’ discounts vary in amounts and age limits. If you don’t see a seniors’ rate advertised, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

411 Seniors Centre Society List of Discounts – from retail stores to grocery stores, restaurants, banks, home improvement and cultural events, this comprehensive list has all the info you need.

BC Ferries – Seniors aged 65 and over travel free Monday through Thursday except holidays.

ICBC – If you are 65+, you may qualify for a 25% saving on basic insurance.

Parks Canada Discovery Pass – Get out and enjoy nature and you’ll receive a seniors’ discount if you’re over 65.

Public Transit – If you’re 65 and over, you qualify for a seniors’ discount on all public transit in BC.

Via Rail – Travel by train and save 10% if you’re over 60. They also offer an additional 10% off to CAA members.
